TORONTO SPRING MOTORCYCLE SHOW - A COMPLETE SUCCESS FOR BOTH IMBBA & PROMOTERS
The Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show was a huge success as usual but most important to the growth of the IMBBA was the increase in Level 3 Custom Bikes. This show was the second of the two Toronto International Motorcycle Shows (the first that was held in January and is Canada’s largest show) and once again the promoters credit the IMBBA judging team and judging method with this increase in high end bikes, (highest number ever). Having proven ourselves to the promoters we are now working to streamline the classes as well as making some positive changes in the custom show format.
Top bikes are as follows:
!st Place Blade, Rat Shop. 2nd Place Speeding Billet, Industrial Cycle. 3rd Place Joker, Speed Trix. 4th Place Love Zombie, Konstantine. 5th Place Custom Softail, Rat Shop. 6th Place, Triple Six, Speed Trix. Best Paint, Joker, Speed Trix Best Artwork, Zombie, Fitto
Wayne Burgess (IMBBA Member) was in attendance to start his “Judge Training”. He also won a 5th and 3rd place with two of his bikes. It was good to see some new entrants and fresh bikes in this years show. Speed Trix , which is one of the shops participating in the 2012 World Cup brought four new customs and Rob Durisin displayed a beautiful John Shope customized Street Glide.
