Ultimate Builder lineup of competitiors for the United States National Championship
Daytona Beach, FL - Bike Week from March 14-17 2012 at the Ocean Center Convention Hall was the site, set and staged by the International Motorcycle Show. Within, was the Ultimate Builders United States National Championship Motorcycle competition. The competition which provides a clear staircase for the World Competition held in Sturgis. Manned by Bob Kay and Jeff Najar, seasoned hosts for what became the best and most competitive competition for the year.
IMBBA was in attendance as guests judges who were: Master Judges, IMBBA president, Jeff Starke and IMBBA country representative, Freddie Arnold.
The show was top in presentation and professional appearances, a class act. The best of the best were in competition. Many IMBBA members competed. Winning the National Championship in the Freestyle competition, sponsored by Street Chopper Magazine.went to Jeremy Cupp, with his hill climber. "Old Black" sporting dual brakes and dual rear drive system.
Winning the Modified Harley Class, sponsored by Hot Bike Magazine & Harley Davidson was Steve Iacona with his Sportster having a modified hard tail
Winning the Performance Custom class, sponsored by Super Street Bike Magazine was Mike Belland, with his 2012 Street racer 140 cu. in. V-twin turbo with nitrous having a Mono shock & Hayabusa stretched swing arm.
Winning the Retro Mod Class, sponsored by Motorcyclist Magazine, was Mark Webster, with his 1973 Yamaha TX650 presented as a track style.
"This is truly the best competition since inception of the Ultimate Builder which began 2 years ago. We were please to have the IMBBA judges assisting us with this difficult and tight competition".
Ultimate Builder is looking forward to the best this summer. If this show is any indication of what's coming for the Sturgis 73 rd Annual AMD competition this August gives us the vision of what's to come . Were excited" said Bob Kay, Ultimate Builder.

While at the show, IMBBA provided its members and builders a brief workshop on IMBBA judging styles and processes. While assisting new members in getting their records ready for certification. All in all, 2012 promises to be IMBBA's best year yet!.
