Transverse City, MI - The Michigan Bike Show January 20-22, 2012 Boast many new events and promises of exciting entertainment. But this year, under the direction of Chad Dutmers, The Michigan Bike show has elected to bring in the IMBBA International Master Bike Builders Association who for the last five years has earned its mark as the only professional trained judging entity on the planet. The judges undergo extensive educational training and apprentice at bike shows with IMBBA Master Judges before becoming certified as a professional judge.
The IMBBA, a global community of custom bike builders have embraced the judging system as the fairest system ever in bike show competition judging. What makes IMBBA judging system complete is the judges meeting with the builders/owners after the awards are presented where builders/owners can speak with the judges on how their bikes scored. this is priceless. Getting an answer as to why my bike placed where It did in competition can only help make for a better built bike. IMBBA uses their Fit, Form, Function, and safety held high, when scoring these bikes.
Recently becoming partners with AMD, The IMBBA will hold its International qualifier class competition in Sturgis, SD at the 72nd Annual Sturgis Bike Rally.
IMBBA is excited to attend and have the privilege to judge the bikes in Michigan. The winner of the Michigan "Best of Show" will have their expenses paid for themselves and their bike by the Promoters/sponsors of the Michigan Bike Show to attend and IMBBA will dual enroll the winner into the AMD show as well.
For Michigan this is a win win, and for builders a golden opportunity to be seen and heard.
