“Jeff, The other side to my business is the AFT Customs girls modeling agency which offers knowledgeable, professional & classy spokes models to our industry. We've turned it into a school. All the girls can lace a wheel & true it,do a valve job, put an engine together ( with my help), Tig & Mig weld ( 2 have become certified TIG welders with more to follow this winter), form sheet metal ( they took a class with Cole Foster & Greg Westbury). We don't paint our bikes but Kirk Taylor put on a class to teach them air brushing & pin striping. Alan Kraus (Kraus motor Co.) will teach them a little about machining this winter. We incorporate our friends in the industry as the teachers which has been a lot of fun as well as informative. Craftsmanship dies if it's not passed along. 8 girls total & they build about 60-70% of each bike under my guidance. This is their hobby not their profession. This is a reminder to all that we started in motorcycles because it was fun. Because of my passion , forward thinking vision, & quality of work I now have 11 corporate sponsors for the AFT builds.
