IMBBA announces Italy now having IMBBA judged bike shows
Verona, Italy - IMBBA International was well represented when sending Rick Fairless, of Strokers Dallas and Mondo Porras, from Denver's Choppers, both have been in the industry for over 4 decades or more. Their goal was to welcome into the IMBBA, Italy's FIC organization and ensure their judging practices were in keeping with IMBBA standards for Bike show judging. Mondo Porras and Rick Fairless, are IMBBA certified Master Bike Builders, as well as , IMBBA "Hall of Fame" Mondo, who completed IMBBA training and certification for Master Judge, was elected to inspect and certify Italy's FIC (Federation of Italian Customizers) president, Fabrizio Favre, who completed the IMBBA judges course and was rated as Associate Judge.was ready to advance as a IMBBA bike Judge. After several training events in Italy over the course of 2011, Fabrizio was found to meet and exceed the criteria to become an IMBBA judge. This puts Italy one step closer to conduct IMBBA bike show competitions in Italy.
Verona Bike Expo was not without additional celebrities from the custom bike building arena. IMBBA "Hall Of Fame" Arlen Ness along with Russ Mitchell, and Jessie James, and Fred Kodlin also were in attendance.
IMBBA International would like to applause the efforts of both Italy and USA members for coming together in developing this global standard of bike show judging. IMBBA would especially like to thank Rick Fairless and Mondo Porras for taking time from their busy shops and business to Represent USA builders making this all possible.

Verona Bike Expo 2012 not only served as a meeting ground but had exceptional quality of bikes and bike shows. The IMBBA ensures that builders receive credit and attention for their accomplishments in bike building. While the completion of training for bike show judges is IMBBA's only way by which an individul can receive a certification from IMBBA. IMBBA researches all candidates that apply for certification by ensuring the accuracy of the documents and proficiency and practices of the candidate, By judging bike shows IMBBA is able to physically witness the builders hands on abilities. A most crucial part of certification. The IMBBA judging system ensures that all bikes being submitted for certification by the builder that, they meet Fit, Form, Function and Safety guidelines.
