Sturgis, SD - Broken Spoke Campground. Broken Spoke Saloon, the only Destination in Sturgis with a view! IMBBA held its 2nd Annual Bike Show at the Broken Spoke Saloon (Campground location) on August 9, 2011 Judged by the IMBBA USA and Canada team members were: Master Judge and IMBBA-USA representative, Freddie Arnold. Canadian Judge, Ryan Robinson, USA Judge, Kevin Baxter and Associate Judge, from Canada, Charlie Lessard.
Sporting some of the finest customs, builders assembled to earn their points for the 2014 International Bike Competition. USA will continue to hold bike shows recording the points earned by the builders for the next two years to see who will be eligible to represent USA in the International Bike Competition in 2014
The event was filled with excitement. The stage and Saloon a class act provided the scenery for a spectacular Bike show. appreciated by all. Darin Maltsberger, from Mitchell Tech located in Mitchell S.D. brought with him one of their students chopper projects and displayed in the IMBBA bike show. along with builders from around the country. Kevin Baas from Kennedy High School arrived during awards presentation and together Kevin and Darin cranked up the Students bike for a roaring ensemble of pure adrenaline.
Winners of the IMBBA 2nd Annual bike show will be reported in the IMBBA newsletter coming out August 15, 2011 along with results are posted on the IMBBA USA website at. www.imbba.us Be sure to check it out.
The Broken Spoke is by far he best watering hole in Sturgis. A staff of the most exhilarating people and if you don't know Jack Shit. Well there's will you will meet the best MC this side of the Mississippi. Jack Shit, MC's daily at the Broken Spoke along with great bands and entertainment. Andy Aberdale, Broken Spoke Saloon management along with Jen and Heather provided the best hospitality ever. The Saloon IMBBA president, refers to as, "the only saloon in Sturgis with a view"! The view is amazing with a Olympic size swimming pool and deck. plenty of parking and a view looking over the mountain. Not to mention camping with the cleanest facilities and convenience to the pool and saloon.
