IMBBA "Hall of Fame" Ceremony - A complete Success!

"The IMBBA is proud to welcome Master Bike Builders Mondo Porras, Bob McKay and Ron Finch into the IMBBA "Hall of Fame," said Jeff Starke, founding president of the International Master Bike Builders Association. "Their lifetime achievements are in keeping with IMBBA high standards and it is with great pleasure that we present our highest achievement award for excellence and charitable contributions to these world renowned builders".
Ron Finch, Mondo Porras and Bob McKay join other legendary bike builders in the IMBBA HALL OF FAME that includes Arlen Ness and Indian Larry, Donnie Smith and Dave Perewitz, along with Fred Kodlin and Paul Yaffe. More than 200 bike builders and their guests attended a VIP dinner following the ceremony at Broken Spoke Campground. Hosted by the IMBBA.
As the evening progressed at the Broken Spoke Saloon Campground Bike builders and their guests began arriving Kris Krome and his recent Bride where on hand to join Radical Randy and Jay Allen who narrated and presented the Trophies to the IMBBA Master Bike Builders.
One of the most humorous moments was when Paul Yaffe did an impersonation of Ron Finch which left everyone in laughter. One of the most memorable moments was when the slide presentation played on the big screen taking the Masters through their careers starting from the 60's to present day. It was especially memorable to watch them on stage huddled together making comments of their past as it unfolded.
The crowds cheered each builder as they received their recognition from IMBBA and remained for photos taken by their fans. Following the ceremony was a private dinner hosted by IMBBA where no one left hungry. It was a momentous evening and IMBBA would like to thank Broken Spoke Saloon, Jay Allen and their professional staff along with IMBBA Sponsors whom made the evening possible. they are: Accel Motorcycle Products, S&S Cycle, Ruben Brown Foundation and Wimmer Machine.
Prior to the big event, IMBBA presented several other achievement awards to Bike Builders who completed their certification to "MASTER BIKE BUILDER" Level II They are: Steven Broyles Sr., Stevenson Cycle-USA Ryan Robinson-RnR Cycle, Canada, Lee Wimmer-Wimmer Machine-USA and Don Bittman- Rogue,-USA.
Crowds rolled in all day for the IMBBA bike show. But in the evening when the Hall of Fame Ceremony began the Broken Spoke Saloon campground was packed to see these legendary builders all on one stage
