Classic Bike & Tattoo Show - Laval, CANADA - Bigger and Better !
Easy Rider.....
IMBBA Judges: (L-R) Master Judge Bob McKay, Associaite Judge Charlie Lessard and Judge Ryan Robinson
Laval, Canada - The Classic Bike & Tattoo Show in Laval, Quebec was bigger & better than ever this year with record setting attendance (as well as record setting beer consumption). This show, which is put on by Revolutions Magazines owner Pascal Richard is by far the most entertaining motorcycle show that I have attended. It is non stop Rock and Roll / Rockabilly bike show, car show, tattoo show, body painting show and the best people watching venue in Canada. The French Canadians really know how to get it done. This is a show for high end custom motorcycles, you won’t find all the leather and trinket venders here, the show is all about customs. Quebec is the hot spot in Canada for custom built bikes and the wildest paint in the country. Probably the best known of the French air brush artists is Martin Bouchard, known to everyone as “Fitto”, once again captured the best paint award. Peoples Choice went to another fantastic painter Alain Panneton for his Kodlin Framed Custom. IMBBA judges handled the two very full top classes, Radical and Super Modified. The top 4 results follow.
This show venue is the host for the 2012 IMBBA World Cup Competition. If you have never experienced it, next year would be a good time to check it out. This wild Bike/Party show will be running as usual with the World Cup Competition in the adjoining building. “Two Shows in One” The dates for this are April 20-22, 2012.
