Bob McKay has been working on motorcycles and working in the motorcycle business since 1970. Customizing motorcycles has been his main focus and passion. He has built and modified hundreds of one of a kind custom motorcycles. Over the last 30 years many of Bob’s creations have been featured in national and international motorcycle magazines since his first feature in Street Chopper magazine 1974.
Bob’s career in the motorcycle industry has not been limited to just building custom machines. He has pretty well had his hands in all aspects of the business - certified motorcycle mechanic - service manager of a multiline dealership - owning and managing custom shops - owned and operated his own paint shop - designing parts for well know companies like Custom Chrome and Drag Specialties - owning Bob McKay’s Harley Davidson Inc with his wife Dianne from 1986 till when they sold the business in 2002, so they could concentrate on the true passion of building custom bikes and custom restorations of Harley-Davidsons.
